IT'S HERE!!! The SUMMER SOYBEAN SPECTACULAR '24, June 13-14, at the Morrison High School. It is just a short distance from Stillwater if you would like to stay over for both workshop days.
Our rescheduled "How to have an AG Day" workshop will be Thursday, June 13, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. We will have a mini ag day and panel discussion to get you on your way to hosting an Ag Day of your own.
On Friday, June 14, 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM, we are hosting multiple workshops. You can choose a morning and an afternoon workshop from these options.
CHICK A DOODLE DO - Taught by Chick Queen, Debra Wood. This is the best nuggets to understand your incubator so you can hatch chicks and teach the life cycle. You will receive an incubator.
THE DIRT ON SOIL- In this fun and engaging workshop, Amber Bales will connect soil and soybeans with activities and resources. Do you know the difference between soil and dirt and why soil is important? You will use hands-on tools and technology and take home some great materials.
PORK & BEANS - Taught by Teresa Brunnemer. You will have a squealing time learning about the role of soybeans in the production of pork. Take a stroll down the pic trail with some hands-on activities that you can do with your students and some great take-homes.
SOY GEO - Join Zena Lewis as she shares lessons and activities to teach your students about soybeans in agriculture across the globe. New take-homes for your classroom.
SOIL TO SOYBEANS -This will be for upper grades and taught by Tammy Will. You'll be on a scavenger hunt and experiencing break-out boxes as you learn about regenerative farming.
